Lucija Brezočnik, recipient of the IEEE award for the second year in a row

IEEE, the world’s largest association of professionals in electrical engineering, electronics, computing, informatics, telecommunications, and related fields, annually awards recognitions to members whose activities have encouraged and contributed to the growth of the organization’s membership. The IEEE Member Recruitment and Recovery Committee is responsible for the awards, which awarded Lucija Brezočnik, an assistant at the Institute of Informatics, for her activities in this field for the second year.

Third transnational SET4Inclusion project meeting

On February 21st and 22nd 2024, the SET4Inclusion project transnational meeting was held at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa in Istanbul, Türkiye, attended by our member Maja Pušnik. Kick-off of the CyberHubs project

Horizon project SMART ERA kick-off in Trento

In January 2024, the Horizon Europe project SMART ERA, worth €6.5 million, was launched to empower rural communities facing socio-economic and environmental challenges. The 4-year project fosters a community-led pathway to change based on high-tech digital products and services using co-developed solutions bundled into smart innovation packages.
