On 17 November 2021, the Slovenian Congress Office held an online event as part of the Slovenian Ambassadors Programme to present this year’s Slovenian Congress Ambassadors, who, through their dedication, commitment, international involvement and perseverance, have helped Slovenia to host international scientific, professional and other business and sporting events over the years. The event also featured interviews with this year’s Slovenian Congress Ambassadors, where they told us more about their motivation for organising events.
Lili Nemec Zlatolas, PhD, is one of the recipients of the Congress Ambassador of Slovenia 2021 title. During her time at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics, she has been involved in the organisation of eight conferences (EJC 2009, EAEEIE 2011, LTEC 2015, KMO 2015, EJC 2015, EAPRIL 2018, ADBIS 2019, and IFIP SEC 2020), which have raised the profile of FERI and of Slovenia also abroad. The Director of the Slovenian Congress Office, Tadeja Pivc Coudyser, personally presented her with the plaque at the FERI premises on Tuesday, 25.1.2022.
