In February 2024, a three-year Erasmus+ funded research and innovation international project CyberHubs was launched with 21 partners from 11 European countries. The project kicked off with a two-day introductory meeting, which took place on February 7th and 8th, 2024, in Brussels. It was attended by our member, Nika Jeršič, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhamed Turkanović from the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor.
The CyberHubs project aims to bridge the knowledge and skills gap in cybersecurity, raise awareness about cybersecurity, and foster collaboration between industry, academia, and vocational education and training providers. By the end of the project, seven so-called ‘CyberHubs‘ will be established across Europe in Spain, Belgium, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, and Slovenia.
