Prof. dr. Tatjana Welzer Družovec was named Congress Ambassador for 2019 at the award ceremony by the Slovenian Convention Bureau. With the support of the Slovenian Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Ljubljana Convention Bureau of Tourism and 16 participating partners; Slovenian ambassadorial program project launched in 2019. The program is set in accordance with good practices abroad, where destinations record many successes, precisely at the expense of successful development and management of congress and conference ambassadorial programs. The main event of the Slovenian Ambassadorial Program this year, where honorary titles were awarded to the first Congress Ambassadors for 2019, took place on 14 November in Ljubljana. The congress ambassadors are doctors, scientists, professors, researchers and other experts from various fields who have contributed to the internationalization of Slovenia.
